You know why hasn't somebody designed a bumper sticker for wintersowers? I just thought up a few slogans:

1. This car stops for all empty milk jugs!

2. Don't bother me!..I'm hunting for wintersowing containers.

3. Honk if you're a wintersower!

4. Recycle your milk jugs..call me!

5. Ask me about wintersowing..

6. Throwing out a mini-blind? Call me first.

This could be a fun exercise..I am sure others can think of some more.

I finally bought a t-shirt of my favorite despair.com poster: (It says "CLUELESSNESS: There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.") Only problem is that I forgot that rectangles become de facto trapezoids when I wear them... and the words cannot be read unless I hold the hem of the shirt out to pull them out of the "darkness"... sigh... oh well... I still think it's funny, and I'm living for the day that someone tells me they have a stupid question and then asks what my shirt says... Oh, and the t-shirt is actually Made in America... by robots (spend some time on the web site and you'll see why this is funny)...

Auntjen- someone in my neighborhood has that! I was telling my husband about it. Actually, I have plain stick figures, dad, mom, girl, boy, dog, cat. I want to put the cat in the dog's mouth. I thought that would be a good take on that stuff. Rucnmom- very funny! I saw the pulling hair one the other day and although I thought it was funny it was very awkward watching my kids reading it. Ewwww. I know this was on a shirt but I will share anyway. A girl snowboarding had a black shirt with hot pink writing. It said "Got Boobs? then get a mammogram". I approached the 20 something and told her I appreciated her at least wearing a Boob shirt that was worthwhile and not stupid like so many wear. I told her I just finished treatment and boarded away. She stood there in disbelief and smiled really big.

trudi - I just about busted a gut over Seed Hoar but My jugs are ice cold nearly caused my adult beverage to run out my nose!

Hoar frost. It's when air moisture clings to a surface and freezes, it can build upon itself and make fantastic apparitions, some so beautiful they take your breath away.

If you go to Google and type in Hoar Frost, then select images, you'll see some excellent photos.

O MY!: do any of you use Zazzle? The possibilities are endless. Even if this one little group started with 5 bumper stickers each person... Or to each her (his?) own...so much fun could be had and what a message to share! Go4It. I had some printed up a couple of years ago to sell in conjct w/ our annual plant sale: Big Success!

Also, Trudi used to have a WS website for commercial sales...what is that URL, Trudi?

Seed Hoar definitely needs to be this year's garden t-shirt. Goes nicely with Garden Hoe and Compost Happens. A few years ago my friend made me a fantastic gardening/music bumper sticker.
One of my favorite groups is a 60's band called The Seeds, the lead singer was way ahead of his time, he even had a song called "Mr. Farmer" and is attributed as the person who coined the phrase "Flower Power". My friend made me a bumper sticker of this band name logo.
