About me: I really love gardening! I am attempting to build a collection of bee, hummingbird, and butterfly attracting plants. Primarily I grow vegetables and herbs. I am striving for companion planting with the vegetable garden, hoping to attract a variety of pollinators too. I really love perennials.
Thanks to the generosity of garden web members. I have wonderful success growing a variety of flowers. I am owned by a blue&gold macaw, and a cockatiel who thinks she’s a parrot as well. (Well definitely her cockatiel attitude is!) The rest of the bird herd of cockatiel’s are a little bit more on the normal side! I also have a pair of zebra finches as well.
I love to share seeds, if you see anything you would like on my list please, don’t hesitate to email me! I garden organically, and my seeds are open pollinated.
I also try to find a few new vegetables to try every year. If you have a tried, and true variety. I would love to hear about your experience with it. I have found some really great vegetables to grow that way! Let me know! (no this NOT an I want to try your seed, send me some gig!) Although on the other hand, I would happily swap seeds with you if not a name to go by so I can try it too would be great! I’d just really like to know what’s worked for you. I want to know about your ’keeper’s something that you grow year after year and are faithful too. I pretty much grow a wide variety in a small space of raised beds. I LOVE TOMATOES! I really ADORE CHERRY tomatoes! I grow a lot of my garden out of containers at the moment for lack of space. I am concentrating on growing more ’in the ground’ this coming spring.
