My small adenium collection..

So here is my small collection. I don't have any fancy hybrids... YET! lol but soon I hope. I got these all from various sources.

This is my biggest one. I put it in a large pot because a friend told me, she thinks they grow better roots in larger pots.

Here are some smaller A. obesum

and an A. obesum x somalense

Your collections looks fantastic. The second photo has the shape of an arabicum.

What type of soil mix do you use?

We had a pretty bad cold spell and I brought the 3 I had into my garage. Other than that they were left on my front porch for the winter. My front porch is covered and faces west. I did lose one of the 3 big plants I had from last year. And I lost a couple seedlings. Most of my DRs were bought early this spring. Acouple of them are sunburnt. I have one that has a soft caudex but is still showing signs of healthy growth. Not sure why its soft. I water it no more or less than the others. I plan on unpotting it and taking a look this weekend. But overall the plants look and feel healthy. What will happen to the sunburnt plants if I do nothing. We they acclimate. They both still have a nice firm caudex. Thanks, JR

I LOVE tropical fruits and have several myself. Commented on your post on that forum...beautiful trees, they're amazing! BTW Ray, I went to durhambotanicals.com and went to the Pots link and NONE showed up...am I missing something or did they not have them any longer? I was going to see how much that hard rubber black one you have and what it cost to ship to me...but couldn't pull it up on their website...Any idea why its not showing up? Thanks!

Hi Kumar. nice plant you have there. What is the name of the flower and what soil mix are you using? Is it not the same flower i guess but the same soil mix, river zand and humus?

It's a lovely collection - the shapes are beautiful. They'll be amazing when they're in bloom.

I see you, too, have plumeria that like to lean!

Thanks everyone! I need more plants! lol

Ladylotus- Right now I am using a miracle grow perilite mix. It seems to work pretty fine.
