Pat, The error is with station(zone) 1 valve solenoid or wiring not a particular head in station 1. Manually cycle through the stations(zones) and verify zone 1 won't come on. Check off, at the valve location, the ones that do go on successfully. Inspect the valve that doesn't and see what color wire is hooked to the solenoid. Check if the solenoid connections haven't come loose or shorted by water. Check the controller and make sure the same color wire has a solid connection there. If you can't find the problem at this point. Change a good zones controller terminal connection wires to the suspect terminal connection and see if the newly changed valve has the problem now. The problem is in the controller. If the newly changed zone works then change the suspect zones solenoid. I hope you could follow that. Easier to do than explain. JMHO Aloha.

I have a hunter pro c and in the past I have just watered all zones once a day. I just had some areas seeded and I would like to run two zones three times a day. At 7:00am I run all zones using program A. I have set up a prog B for the other two watering times for just the two zones. Noon and 6pm. When I go back and look at the 7am cycle it has switched to prog B. What am I doing wrong? If I switch it back to prog A then my noon and 6pm show up using prog A. Any help is appreciated. John

jt, Just seeing the error message with M says its with the pump relay may not make specific sense to most people but it would to a profession pump contractor who set these systems up. A pump electrician needs to check the system out from pump to controller hookup. The display is similar to the check engine light coming on in your car. The read out doesn't necessarily call out the exact problem and may actually disguise the real problem. That is why a contractor with experience with pump/controller issues needs to troubleshoot the situation. If your system was installed recently, you may be under warranty. You need someone who can troubleshoot the electronics. If you think you have the know how, DIY. GL JMHO Aloha

Hi - I recently seeded, and was told I needed to run my sprinklers every day for 20 minutes. So, rather than mess with my regular schedule, I decided to use program B. I set the program A start times to OFF for all 4, and set up program B, with one start time, but...on the "days to water", it shows every day as "blank". no rain drop, no rain drop with a slash, just blank. If I hit the up arrow, it changes to a rain drop with a slash and advances to the next day, and down arrow switches it back to blank. never get a rain drop. is this right, is this going to work as I expect? (the manual doesn't mention blank, it only mentions rain drop or rain drop with slash!)
