question about Joseph's Coat Climber

HI all, I have a Joseph's coat climber that was just planted about 2 weeks ago. It's gorgeous but I was wondering about deadheading. When all the blooms in a cluster have bloomed do you just cut off the blooms or do I need to cut the whole little cluster off? Do they rebloom? I read they were a repeat bloomer and bloom on new wood but I'm not seeing any new growth anywhere. Anyone know about this type of rose? Please help!!?? :) I would attach a picture but I'm not sure how?
