Drip system disaster

Okay,

January last year I finished the pool construction. I hired a local landscape contractor to install backyard irrigation. This consisted of lawn sprinklers and planter areas. At the time of bid I told him my concerns with drip system I wanted low maintenance. He assured me that drip system was the way to go in lieu of hard piped bubbler ends at each plant which is what I wanted. He told me that the drip sytem was very low maintenace and that he knows I will be happy. Well it's been a year and I have to say that this is the worst system ever created. The sprayers clog constantly and the main thick drip pipes pop out of the the pvc hard pipe all the time. I never know it's a problem untill the plants start to yellow since all the piping is under landscape cloth and rock.

Should I replace all this with what I wanted in the first place? Or is there a drip system out there that really works??

by the way he won't return my calls now. So to redo it will cost some $$$$$

I attached a pic for refernce
