good day to visit Lowes
Comments (9)The front, sides and half of the back look gorgeous, but most of this stuff is going into the other half of the back. I just evicted most of the kid stuff, including the gigantic fort they never use, so it's go-time back there. Once it grows in and the mosquitos disappear, we're going to want to live back there. Does anyone in the Dallas area need lantana? I've got way too much lemon cream and peach, and you're welcome to take some. I might make you take a portulaca hanging basket, too :-)...See MoreI visited a speed queen today!
Comments (30)Apologies in advance to viennamommy19 for hijacking her thread! LOL. hvtech, I wash in cold because that's what 95% of my clothes require, including sheets. Even my towels say cold -- which I know is ridiculous -- so I wash them on very warm or sometimes hot. "Cold wash, tumble dry low, light iron if needed" seems to be the print on every label nowadays. Perhaps manufacturers do this for liability reasons? I do not know. But I heed it, perhaps unnecessarily. All jokes about top loaders aside, my elderly mother has been using a cheap 27" GE laundry center for about ten years now, and she loves it beyond words....See MoreUpdate on my ER visit and DR's visit today/
Comments (12)I have to disagree with your doctor, Glenda. If you think you could be having a stroke, you should ALWAYS head to the ER because time is of the essence. You probably shouldn't drive yourself, but definitely get there somehow. Wonder why he said that to you? Anyway, I'm so sorry that you are feeling low and hope your trip helps with that. Have a wonderful time, Glenda. Every time my daughter sees pictures of England/Scotland, she sighs, wishing she could go back....See Morevisited Living Sculpture Sanctuary again today
Comments (22)@eeyore this plant was $70. Can get much smaller, HD Lowes type size for $20. There are some really big ones for a lot more. @rcharles yes it's Robert's. I missed him this time. He's super busy. It's an actual wedding venue in the back and it's so gorgeous. @Peter I battle spider mites constantly and I asked him how he controls it there and he said he really doesn't have a problem with then, go figure. They did have a caterpillar assault when I was there though. I never saw so many. She just plucked them off and rolled under her shoe. @abraham it's in Davie, FL which is about 15 min inland from Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Thanks for the Neem tip. I'll try it....See Moremgleason56
