Mark - No, I have not planted the ragoon creeper yet. I haven't quite figured out where I want to put it. The other plant that you gave me that produces clusters of blue flowers is sending up a couple more flower stalks. This plant reminds me of a super dwarf Lily-of-the--Nile. Besides, I have been spending a LOT of time working in the vegetable garden. I will post pics of that in the near future. Anna - Thank you very much for the compliments. I do enjoy strong colors too. I find colorful foliage easier to deal with in the hot summer...no deadheading. Actually I have another planted area that I could show you but it's not quite as eye catching. I couldn't get a shot of the whole plant (long shot...) as it had been tied to a post to stop it falling over and was surrounded by other plants. Sorry I don't think it's either Phaius or Spathoglottis. I warned you it was difficult!

Crzy4flowers, your roses and gardens are lovely. Georgia is a great state. I grew up there. Pelicanhead, if you are going to Rincon, Ga, and have seen Savannah, take a trip to Charleston,S.C. I would say points in between but you can easily spend two weeks in Charleston and barely scrape the surface. The Gardens on the Ashely River are so beautiful, especially in late winter and spring. Weather will be very hot and humid in late summer with ocean breezes. DH and I both went to college there and later lived there for time. It is still our favorite place to visit. Also during school year, the dress parades at the Citadel on Friday afternoons are a must see. Enjoy the lovely South. Lynn
