replacing Troy-Bilt tiller tines

i recently purchased a 23 year old horse rototiller and i definitely need to replace all the tines. i've seen replacement tines on sale for around $80, but i also came across a set of "heavy duty" tines for $140 from Custom Parts Inc. Since my untilled soil is primarily a rocky silt loam and i have a lot of tilling to do (1/2 acre) eventually, are the heavy duty tines really worth the extra money or do they wear down just as easily as the regular replacements? Thanks.
