haiku time again

The rules for haiku

Five syllables, then seven

Last line five again.

The first day of spring

Four coffee shops on the way

And bunny poop too!

Dig into the pile

Add smelly liquid onion

Ah! The worms will dance.

The banana peels

From my neighbor's March breakfast:

Tomatoes in June

Dryer lint, slime, mold,

It all goes into the pile

Where it is transformed

Dreaming my garden

into existence, with worms

my partners and friends

Inspiration strikes

Wackos resurface, awake

Time to compost words.
