No signs of life in campanula, lynchis, or amsonia...

I planted several new perennials last year. I'm starting to see life in many plants around the garden, such as the pachysandra, lamium, and primulas, so it worries me to not see life in these plants as well. I know it's still early, but I don't see anything...
The exact species are campanula glomerata, lynchis 'orange gnome', and amsonia 'halfway to arkansas'. I fear this may be another year where I have killed something...
