Refresh my memory where and how I post my wish list and seeds I have to trade.

I really have no idea what they'd try to charge you for these upgrades. But do let us know if you can. Heat pump cost more to the dealer due to added controls/components. As would the 2 stage variable speed furnaces. I'm going to throw out what I would expect the upgrade costs to be (to be reasonable), but I do imagine that they will throw in their typical upcharges so they can gouge you. I'm not a pro, but based on everything I've seen and heard, I think my estimates are within range. Heat pumps: $600 each -> $1200 Furnaces: probably same as above --> $1200 Air Filters: $300 each -> $600 Thermostats: These are pricey models. $300 each -> $600 Overall, they're probably going to try to push another $4000 out of you the buyer. Let us know what they say. While you may not have much room for negotiation at all in your case, it's good to go in there with a bit of knowledge.

Karen Hause, have you seen the flowers of this sedum? If so what color are they? We don't have a fully authoritative answer but have some strong leads regarding its identity. We'll write more about this, but the flower color would provide additional clarification. Incidentally, side-by-side comparison makes us more convinced that your blue sedum is S. hispanicum not 'Blue Spruce'. We'll write more about this, too.

Am so excited to have drupes on the new Edgeworthia papyrifera that I got this spring. If I can catch them at the right stage of ripe and then get them to germinate ~a year from now, it will probably only be another decade before flowering. So why am I so excited? I don't know but have decided to just enjoy the moment.

Ralph, is that guy hardy? I forgot.. As for getting to the exchange, I was surprised at how difficult it is to find it from main page. I just use these existing threads that have emails about, and go to the top and click the "Carolina Garden Exchange" button, and it brings me to it. Though I did finally find it from main page... (if not for this question I wouldn't have spent time to look, because got irritated before at being unable to find it, but found it easier this time for some reason) Go to the Stories and Advice and choose Gardenweb Discussions: Then go to the side bar and click Exchanges and Trading: That will bring you to a list of all the exchanges and can choose Carolina Exchange from there.

To add to your "Have" and "Want" exchange page on GW first go down and click on "Member Pages". It is in the green bar at the bottom of every gardenweb page.

Click on "Edit your Exchange Lists". From there you can list all the things you have to trade or are looking for. When done hit "Submit". You can then preview it or go back and click "Edit your Exchange Lists" to make changes.

If your email is blocked a trader will not be able to contact you. To un-block your email click on "Member Pages" again. This time click on "Edit your Personal Information etc". At the very bottom there should be a section where you can select who can email you. Click on the option that allows only GW members to email you (unless you don't mind your email being shown to non-members reading the forums too).

Ps. It is always a good idea to make a copy of the list on your computer as a back up! I learned the hard way, lol!

Ooops. Didn't see your second post that stated you had figured it out on your own (hey! I have only had half a cup of coffe so far today, give me a break, lol!).

Maybe my explanation will help anyone else that is interested in knowing how to do it though... ;-)
