Too much slope on flagstone patio?

I had a flagstone patio installed 3 yrs ago and over the past year it seems to be sloping (sinking?) more and more. It is on a hill. The patio was done on a new concrete base and is held up by a curved retaining wall on on side. This was also set on concrete. We have had major erosion problems in our yard over the past few years, so I'm worried the soil is compacting under the patio and causing it to slope too much on the hill. Could this be what's happening? Any thoughts? Does this mean it has to be redone? If it has to be redone, how do I avoid this in the future? This was not a DIY project. . .and it looks beautiful even if it is sinking.
