If you're ordering your roses from a source that offers both 'Kaiserin Friedrich' AND 'E Veyrath Hermanos' (RU appears to be the only nursery that does), then ask how they differ before you get both. There's been speculation that the roses now in commerce under those names may actually be the same rose.

And there's the ongoing debate about whether 'Souve d'Elise Vardon' is the same as 'Mlle Franziska Kruger' (just in case you already have the Tea with the latter name in your garden).

Nancy Lee ain't a Tea. It is one of the first HTs. Mine has been growing well, and it is pink, not yellow despite the RVR description and pic. Read the HMF description instead. Rosenlexikon says "vivid pink" Sorry for the bad news:-)

I've only had two of those on your list for enough time to really comment.

Duchesse d Auerstadt is a good rose. I'm expecting good things from her this year. She kind of sat for the first two years--last year was much better. She has beautiful golden butter yellow blooms. The fragrance is classic tea to my nose. I'm thinking she is going to be a really large rose--maybe too large for where I have her (bummer). I have her on a rebar teepee and guess I'm just going to have to keep snipping bits to keep her in bounds.

Souvenir d'Elisa Vardon is believed by many to be the same rose as Franziska Kruger. I had FK and while she has a beautiful bloom color (apricot) and bloomed very well, I just did not like the vegetative centers. She is no longer in my garden.

I have a baby Westside Road Cream Tea because of the input I received on this forum. Can't speak from personal experience but was definitly enabled into it and am excited about its potential.

I'll be watching this post because I'm equally smitten with Teas. You have many on your list that look really interesting.

The only one on your list I have in a mature size is LePactole. Gets between 5-6' tall and 3-4' wide with light pruning each spring here in N Texas. Vigorous growth, very nice upright vase form. Blooms constantly. Not a high-centered HT-type bloom, but lovely, luminous ivory, ribboned petals, not at all touched by thrips or the bot. fungus. I highly recommend this one, a total keeper. Really healthy all the time, too.
My Westside Road Cream is a teeny-twig band, I'm thinking it ain't so vigorous.
My Souv. Elise Vardon was rec'd as a twig-band last fall, but is growing fast in its gallon container, and has the most gorgeous burgundy new growth.

Rival Paestum is beautiful. Last year was my first year with it, and it died back to the ground. However, it seems to be coming back well.

Wow...what a list. I've got nearly all of the ones you've mentioned, but so many are still too small to comment. I do love Cymbeline. It's one of the few David Austins that is showing significant disease resistance and vigor in my no spray garden.

I've lost Ley's Perpetual and Gloire de Dijon.

I'll be following this post avidly so I can see what to expect.

I love Westside Road Cream Tea" it is one of my favorite roses for fragrance and it is far more resistant to powdery mildew in our area, than "Ducher" was which defoliated completly.
Because band sized Tea roses are espeically slow to build, I feed new Tea roses 10-10-10 liquid fertilizer every other month,March, May, July, September, (switching to 12-12-12 when they were c. 1 foot tall. ) while they are in a gallon sized pot and during their first year in the garden. The Tea roses I did not feed this way took nearly twice as long to grow to 2 feet tall.

Since you're asking about non-pink Teas I'd highly reccomend
"Etoille de Lyon" for a good yellow Tea.
Peach-pink "Anna Olivier" is also very fine Tea rose,and to my nose the most fragrant Tea of all.
red "Francis Dubreuil" is a Hybrid Tea that has a Tea growth habit and rapid re-bloom.

Ley's Perpetual did not grow for me at all and is gone. The only other one I have is Westside Road Cream Tea which in one year grew into a beautiful dense bush with large, beautiful white roses. It is a smaller tea rose which can probably easily be kept to 4 feet. My climate is hot and dry and it seemed to really like the heat. It's one of my best roses.

I had Faith Whittlesey and loved it so much I brought it with me. It bloomed a lot for its first year and spent two weeks last July covered up by some large zinnias which grew over it. When I uncovered it after coming home from being away, it had no blackspot at all. I was amazed.

I also grew Krishna's peach; the blooms are pretty; but I also had it only for a year; it grew tall and angularly and while the blooms were pretty, it had some spotting and didn't bloom nearly as much. I would have enjoyed seeing it mature to see what happened with it as I liked it enough to wait for three years, but not enough to dig it up. To be fair, though, it was probably in too much shade.

I just bought Garnet Crest and have heard it too is bs resistant and a good bloomer. I don't know first hand, though. I can't wait to find out.

Windeaux- Thanks. I def don't want to pay for 2 varieties of the same rose if Kaiserin Friedrich and E Veyrath Hermanos are the same. And I do have MFK, and don't like her veggie centers! Don't want another.

Lux- I hope to goodness that I remember to feed these babies. I've lost so many bands over the last couple of years because I was scared to over fertilize. Then they are too small to make the winter. I may actually spray the babies to help them grow, too. My rose garden back in 2005 seemed fully mature after 2 years because I was spraying and fertilizing. Nowadays it takes much much longer for my roses to grow.
I have the roses you've listed except for Anna Oliver which I've ordered over and over only to be told they are out of stock. Tried again this time though!
Harborrose- I'm hoping the angular thing was just the "teenage awkwardness" stage. I've had teas start out that way on their way to huge monsterous beautiful bushes.

Are there any of the climbers that have growth thick and sturdy enough to self support? Which of the climbers are super duper flexible and need to be tied up? I'm running out of climbing space but thinking of setting some of them in areas where there is no actual support but where they will be able to "get a leg up" by throwing canes onto mature plants around them (and short growing stubby pine trees behind them). I've done that with a couple of other climbers with great effects but I think the stems have to be really sturdy.

If 'Park's Yellow' is the beautiful imposter that usually travels under that name, I grew it once (and will again one day). This rose is once-blooming and, at least when grafted and not starved, it gets huge (10'x 18' in two seasons). It has beautiful foliage, lush and tropical looking. I grew it as a self-supporting shrub. I don't know if an ownroot plant would be less supremely vigorous than the one I had.

Amen to everything gardenatlanta said about 'Duchesse d'Auerstaedt'. My plant is grafted and is a noble climber, currently about 8' x 16', and requiring a hefty winter pruning. DdA has smooth canes with few thorns, which makes her nice to work with. Big, fragrant, globular golden blooms and an unfussy plant. Again, I don't know how big an ownroot plant would get.

I received Solfaterre from Roses Unlimited this past fall. A big, beautiful plant, as usual, from RU. It has bloomed for the first time in the past few days and the fragrance is unbelievable. It is a beautiful pale yellow and is just lovely. I can't stop looking at it. It will eventually climb on my pergola. This is the first yellow tea noisette that has bloomed for me (I have several others) and I see why the yellow climbing teas are so valued.

Gloire de Dijon does ok in my Tampa Garden, I have most of the Paul Barden ones you list, but it is too early for me to give you an honest answer , they are too new in my garden.
