Yes. THANK GOODNESS IS RIGHT JODI! I was just at HD lastnight when I noticed all knds of bulbs, seeds, and many spring items coming in! Guess what I saw surrounding all the seeds and bulbs like the great wall of China? Big bags of Miracle Grow...lol Yup. Somebody is making tons of money on that stuff. Not from me anyway. By the way, I also saw tons of houseplants, mostly all of them left for dead! All were so dehydrated, including the beautiful Hoya's they had just gotten two weeks ago. The mix in those pots was peat based and hard as a rock! They were also infested with mites! My goodness, I will never take a plant home from them this time of year. We are happy you are watching yourself and not pushing anymore huge piles in wheel barrows. Lets's bring in the warm temps. Suppose to be in the 50's by next weeks end and finally, just maybe I can finally draw some fresh water from my 30 gallon barrel that has been frozen since December. I can't even see any of my bushes or shrubs under all this snow. I can't wait just to see the ground again.:-) Xuan: I would love to see some pics of your flowering bulbs. I would also like to say to you that I am so happy to see that you are no longer getting any snow..lol -3 degrees this am with temps in my popup at 40. Thanks for the quick responses. Ill definitely be pulling up the weed. @zach I remember someone mentioning when I first asked about it, something about "hahnii", and I was able to locate a picture of it and it was a perfect match to the ones I have. Is that going to be similar to Dwarf Sanseveria?

musey: well, there MAY be a seed pod, depending on whether the flowers get pollinated. i THINK they are pollinated by ants. i'm pretty sure they aren't pollinated by hummingbirds (like aloe and gasteria flowers normally are). and seed pods on haworthias are generally very small (regardless of species and/or size of plant (in my experience)). all the ones i've ever gotten are about 1-1.5 centimeters long. and regarding separating the plants; yeah, i would wait until after you collect the seeds if you are interested in germinating them (i've always been too impatient to grow from seed). just keep in mind that it'll take a while for the seed pods to mature and dry up before you can collect the seeds. this may take a couple months. on the other hand, if it doesn't get pollinated, the flowers will just dry and fall off, leaving just the stalk. at which point, it would be safe separate the plants. good luck! At this site, it uses the misspelled name, but mine looks like the first picturepictured "rauschii" and I think eww's looks like "snowflake" but I could be misremembering. There is another called rauschii sp. (The last picture in that species group) and it is much larger than in the description. The pot is 3-4 inches, so unless the "rosette" doesn't include all the way to the tips of the leaves, then mine is bigger than that. it could look like the last onepictured by Rina. Do you have pictures of those flowers, Rina? Maybe I'll Google those two species' flowers and compare them to the flowers I have.
