Its almost fall, so its Dend kingianum time!

LetÂs face it, we always talk about this easy, beginners plant (sick attempt at humor) around this time of year, so I thought I would get the ball rolling. HereÂs my plant after being outside for the summer. I got this one a couple of years ago as a small plant with maybe 3-4 PBs. ItÂs now in a 3 inch pot and appears to done with its summer growth.

Now my main question:

Could this be a spike already? IÂve never bloomed this plant despite all the good advice from the forum and needless to say IÂm quite excited. This little thing is about ¼ inch long. There appears to be more forming on other PBs, but theyÂre not as big as this one. Note the grasshopper chew marks to the right. Hate those things!

If this is a spike, isnÂt it a bit early? Anything special I should be doing now?

Thanks

Kevin
