I definitely need to replace my regular black crocs. Then maybe get a new style. I got the mary jane version last summer and love those, but they aren't worn out enough to replace yet.

I like my airwalks, but my size only comes in an ugly navy blue colour. It's like a muddy blue. I long for either bright pink or green swirly ones LOL.

This week-end I am going to a store that stocks real crocs in all sorts of colours and I plan to get my swirly ones - or straight green or pink would be fine as well.

Walmart here carries a knockoff that is low priced, but the sole is very thin and has nubs or pickies in a pattern on the insole. NOT comfy at all.

I bought Drew a pair of the knock offs last week-end and I was amazed, he LOVED them! His Mom said he has been saying I want some Crocs! She doesn't know how he knew about them, he's 3 1/2! LOL The only pair I could find in Drew's size were light blue, I didn't like the color but Drew wanted them, and by the end of the week-end they were so dirty the light blue wasn't as noticable! LOL
Now Maddie got a pair of knock offs a couple months ago. Dark blue with pink swirls! She loves hers too, Daddy sent them home with her cause she had NO shoes that fit her.

I'd like to try the Lands End Trellos. I'll hit Sears when they go on sale at the end of the season. :-)

I got my Crocs knock-offs last summer at Wal-Mart for $7. They're black & slides, but are very sturdy & I doubt if they'll wear out for a while - if ever. I don't wear them outside, just in the house & patio & to walk to the pool, about 2 minutes away. I wish I had bought a different color than black but 1 pr. is definitely enough for me as I tend to wear tennies or sandals a lot more in the summer.

Since I'll be wearing mine out in the yard mostly, I bought a pair of cheap Target ones. No nubbies inside and quite comfortable, pink and white swirl design... I think I paid $6.00 for them on sale.

Gee, I just swished last year's sand out of mine, and slipped them on today.....good as new!

I've been wearing mine for a month already. At least when it's warm enough out I do. They're a khaki color. I like the nubbies inside. They keep my feet from slipping around when I get my feet wet in the grass.

A friend of mine bought me a pair of "Off Road Crocs". I think they are cushier than regular ones. When my husband gets his first paycheck from his new job...I'm getting another pair. :)

I've worn mine all winter. They are better than barefoot in the house and I don't like slippers. I can also slip outside with them on if I need to.

Like Linda, I've worn mine all winter long, too. But I think she stole my "better than barefoot" line. I now have 5 pair of Crocs & Airwalk Compels. I'm looking into a couple of new colors. I tried Croc Primas and Mary Janes, but they weren't as comfortable as the Beach or Caymen styles, in my opinion. I finally did go through my many pair of shoes and either tossed or donated almost all of them.

I tried a pair of real Crocs on it Sam's yesterday and it was really wide. I had about 1" or more on each side of my foot when I put it on. Bummer skinny feet!

I still wear my first pair of pink ones that I got at Payless the most as the inner sole feels the most comfortable, but I have a black pair, a navy blue pair and recently bought a pair of bright blue ones at Walgreen. I had a pair of Mary Janes but they were too tight across the instep.

I also sent for a pair of real Crocs winter shoes with the heavy fake lambswool lining that I think are going to feel real good this winter. They are bright red with a cream colored wooly lining

Did you know you can take them to certain places to be recycled? I read about it on their website.

I am still wearing my first pair also, from walmart or the dollar store, I dont remember. They look awful, paint drips, garden grime, etc. Wore them all winter also, around the house. I love them and have a bright and shiny new white pair waiting to be worn.

Have two friends, that had serious falls wearing crocs.
One broke her shoulder, and she fell right in front of me, and 81 years old.

Have 2 pair of Crocs......both from last season. One brown for outside wear and the other light blue for inside. Worn since last spring, through the winter and both will hold me up for another year. IF I find a sale I will purchase another pair .... Crocs work for me. A good friend has knock off crocs style and they didn't last a summer.

Am I the only person on this forum that doesn't like Crocs?
I think they are just ugly on an adult but are cute on little kids.

Lois, I never said they were pretty. And I refused to even try them on until last year for that very reason. But I'm all about comfortable now.

I wear my Crocs everday. I have about a dozen pairs in various colors. I am kind of getting tired of them, but they are soooooo comfortable to me. My sister was appalled, I think, when I bought her her first pair. Now, she is hooked too. A lot of people probably think we are strange, but comfort is number one for me. But once they start to get worn on the soles, you have to get rid of them. That is where the danger of falling in them really comes into play.

I pulled out my 2 pairs of Crocs from last year - black and brown - and will wear them sometimes this summer as well. However, I found a pair of Avia Mary-Jane style tennis shoes that are actually easier on my always-sore big toes, so I will wear those more than my Crocs.

I have white, blue and black and would love a red pair. I wear them to work at the Doctor's office and they are wonderful. I get mine at wally world. I know this is about to stir up trouble but I wear mine with SOCKS!!!!

I've never bought crocs or the generics. I think they are ugly, but would like to try a pair to wear in the garden. Guess I'll have to buy a pair this spring.

I bought some and don't see what all the hype is...they are not only ugly, they are uncomfortable.

I just make flowers for them and it makes them cute.
I take the straps off of mine tho cause I don't use them.
I have flowers in all colors.

Love my knock offs for the garden. Great to be able to hose off my feet, shoes & all. My Crocs I keep for going out purposes. Think they're the next best thing to being barefooted which I used to do a lot! And therein lies my wider feet! Love those little flower doo-dads.

Last Spring my daughter brought me 2 pairs of Crocs that she'd bought at K-Marts...one black and one white pair.They looked uncomfortable and I was wondering how I could get rid of them without her knowing...Maybe she'd forget about them because I 'lived'in sneakers...She'd call, "Have you tried them on yet?"...So finally, I did...I was amazed at how comfortable they felt, and told her...Then, she bought shoes in every color that she could find...I don't know if I'll ever wear those pretty bright yellow ones...Think they'd make my wide feet look wider...ha..A friend told her if she wanted a good fit, to buy the expensive Crocs...so she bought us both a pair...and guess what?...They don't feel nearly as good as the cheaper versions...
I had to tell her, no more shoes, I have 11 pairs of Crocs!..ha

Thanks for reminding me to look for them. I still have my original baby blue pair my kids bought me for Mother's Day three years. They got pushed to the back of the closet so I'll have to dig them out. I only wear them in the house and around the pool and garden. And I frequently wear them with socks too.

But I checked the web site and was amazed to see they have an open toe wedgie, stack heels and ballerina flats too. I was wondering if Crocs would be a fad like Dr. Scholl's or last. But it looks like they're holding their own.

I swore up and down that I would never have a pair, they were the ugliest shoes I had ever seen and I don't allow ugly shoes in my closet. Then one day I had to take my husband to a special shoe store for diabetic shoes. While I was walking around I saw a display of what looked like pins. They had a little chihuahua there and since I have three real chihuahuas, I bought one. After I got home, I was wondering how I was going to wear this pin since the back wasn't like any pin I had ever seen before. Apparently, I am a little slow and it finally dawned on me that you were suppose to wear them on Crocks. So, off I went to Target ( it was closer than the shoe store I took hubby too which is way across town) to get a pair of $30.00 Crocks to put my $2.99 pin on. They didn't have any Crocks but did have some knock offs. I found a pair of pink swirly ones in my size and got them. Went home and put my little pin on the right one, that made the left one look naked. Went back across town to the shoe store and bought another chihuahua pin plus a turtle, parrot, sun and dolphin. I'm good to go Crock wise if not mentally. Vique.

Ugly yes, comfy yes, and I'm all for comfort. As I have gotten older my feet have become wider, as well as some other parts too.lol
Sometimes my ankles swell, have bunions, broke a toe last winter and these are the only shoes that feel really good and I do wear socks sometimes with them in the winter. Don't like cold feet.

I forgot to say I have 2 pair of the flip-flop Crocs, I love them. I wish I'd had more color choices at the store, online they have the most beeeeeutiful colors! I got brown/khaki and navy blue/khaki but they seem to go with everything I wear, if I'd have gotten the lime green or bright orange I dunno if I'd have matched. LOL

Vique, I remember swearing up and down about ten years ago tht I'd never buy a digital camera. Ha! (I have three so far.)

I love my original Crocs (not knock-offs).

Have 4 pairs of them in various colors.

Wore them (with no socks) in the parks at Disney World May 6-11 ~ not one blister!

I have a dedicated pair for inside the house.

I forgot to say that I bought my DH a pair of Croc flip flops last year (on sale for $20.). He was appalled that I had paid $20. for flip flops! At first he thought they were weird, but soon got used to them. This summer he pulled out a pair of his cheap foam flip flops, wore them about 10 minutes and said "this is like wearing cardboard!!", so out came the Crocs. I don't think he'll ever be able to wear ordinary flip-flops again!
