Longing for Summer Part 2

User

I had the day off and went over to the garden all was well including my tiny rooted cutting of Capt Dyel de Graville.

Heres a few shots from our community garden where I grow my roses and a few from last spring & Summer the Cranford and Peggy Rockefeller Rose Gardens.

I bought this 2 years ago and it's finally bloomed last year and I may keep it 1 more year. It's a darker sport of la France though not different enough after day 2 that I would consider giving it it' own space in my limited amount of space. Duchess of Albany the reverse isa deeper shade of magenta pink than the bubble gum shade of LaFrance (and I love LaFrance even with all it's faults) the fragrance alone is worth it.

Alice Vena (Cranford) a beauty that alas blackens in an afternoon if it's a very hot spring.
