Well this water restricition thing is really sweet...

I'm just outside Raleigh and I finally get all my aerating and reseeding and fertilizing chores done about a week and half ago and have just been wetting the soil enough to jump-start germination, and now I hear Raleigh is supposed to vote today on a 1.5 level restriction (we're already at 1), which I understand means no watering lawns at all...but you can still powerwash anything you want and wash your vehicles on weekends. I guess if you want to wet the grass you have to wash your cars on the grass. :)

Of course, this apparently doesn't apply to HOA's and builder-managed sub-divisions in my area because they run their water systems every morning around 2-3am 7 days a week. Didn't think those folks would be classified as a business. Kinda gets me fired up a little.

Sorry for the rant, but thought the other folks around my area would like to know. We can't water our grass, but the sub-division can water the grass outside to keep it looking nice. Still scratching my head on that one.
