Name That Plant!

Please Help Me ID a few Trees!

Hello! I'm new here. I moved into my current house a few years ago and have been curious about the identity of several trees in the yard since then. I thought I'd post up some pictures here to see if anyone could help.

Here's tree A. It is growing by my deck and probably 10-12 ft tall.

On to tree B. This one looks like a seedling that has sprouted naturally.

And here is a closeup of the leaves. Notice the small bell-shaped flowers.

Now on to tree C. This one was badly pruned by the previous owners. I'll be cutting off the two huge water sprouts that have been allowed to grow this coming winter.

And a seedpod still hanging from last fall. They are light-green and lantern-like when alive.

tree 1, looks like a sumac.
tree3 looks like a fraxinus--- ash
tree4 looks like a koelreutheria paniculata,---goldenrain tree

#2 may be a pear, pyrus. Possibly a callery pear.

saltcedar, the foliage does, but these are massive trees, and they only grow in Brazil in marshy areas...the flowers on the Millettia don't look like these flowers...the color is off, and the shape, but thank you. Bruglover I agree, it is gorgeous ! It's not a vine, but he says a tree that grows everywhere around ponds and marshy areas...I also suggested to him the Guaiacum officinale, but as a few other plant people are also trying to help him id this, they shot that down quickly.. Definately not a Jacaranda.

Maybe Cupaniopsis. I think there are quite a few of these in California, parent tree will probably be nearby somewhere.

Well, I hope annual trimming will slow the trees growth a bit. I'll all up for filling in the pool but my wife would bury me in it if I did that. The bees... actually I think they're bumble bees not carpenter bees. They don't bother me much. It's the snails I'm stepping on that are really irritating!

#2 looks like Persimmon, currently putting out similar blooms in my yard.

I agree with the others that venezuela posted.

Wow, thanks everyone! That was quick. You guys know your stuff. I was going to remove the tree that turns out to be a persimmon because I planted a mulberry nearby, but now I know what it is I think I'll leave it. There are a couple of others close by that aren't blooming, hopefully one of them is a female, since it seems that the one in the pictures is a male. Thanks again!

I was excited about the persimmon so I went outside and looked at the other one near the one I showed pictures of. It is in fact a female! I found one female flower on the whole thing and hand pollinated it even though there were bumblebees all over the male tree. Maybe I'll get lucky and have a persimmon this year! Can anyone tell if it is the astringent or non-astringent type?

Can I just say what great pictures you provided? Really useful detail and also full habit shots. So often people post close ups or birds eye views which are really hard to id from. Although they are US trees which I don't know too well your detailed pics told me that we were dealing with an ash albeit not the ones I know and a Koelreutheria which is beginning to appear more commonly in the UK as the climate warms up.
