Free Chicken Sandwich @ McDonalds

... with purchase of medium or large drink.

I KNOW, I KNOW, McDonald's is the devil. But, seeing as how I LOVE Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches, and McDonald's seems to have ripped off that concept, I'm going to try it at lunch today.

Hey, how can you beat a $1 meal in the middle of the month, when you only get paid once a month, right!? lol

P.S. I already clogged my arteries up when I got the chicken biscuit this morning (which was REALLY REALLY good), so I figure I might as well go for the full blown heart attack. LOL

Tisha, I had a heart attack about 12 years ago after eating very carefully for many years and most of my pals told me I should have just gone ahead with the cheeseburgers and fries because I had the attack anyway.

McDonald's is not the devil, it's that extra layer I wear on my butt.

Was it good Tisha? I wasn't as impressed with it as Chick-fil-a. I had it a couple of weeks ago and decided it was ok, but not nearly like the tender juicy Chick-fil-a standard.

newbie here with three chicks and a duckling. two Comets, a Delaware and a runner duck. I am petrified of predators and am researching everything. :( I am so sorry for all of your losses. I cannot stand the thought and before they go out I am going to focus on the most secure barriers I can come up with. We live on 32 acres in Western NY and have it all out here. we have 5 dogs, horses, cats and a 5 year old son. I am a SAHM so will be around a lot. We have approximately 1/4 of an acre with a falling down 6 ft. stockade fence around it that we are going to gradually replace. There is a large area within that fence next to the house where we will put the coop ( the rambler from www.chickensaloon.com and then secure a pen area. Part will be the house, two sides the re-enforced fence and a new part will have to be put up to make the rectangle. We want to put the black plastic shrubbery barrier down ( 6") and then pour cement around the fence. I will get the night time predator lights to move around and do whatever else I can do. If anyone is still reading this thread I am open to suggestions. we also will put bird netting along the top of the run. The problem is that there are no trees in the back. I need to get some put in and also find some things for them to hide under for when they spend time free ranging. In the winter I plan on letting them have a stall with a dutch door and making an enclosure for them but that is a ways away.

I hope the owners of McDonald's go to an exclusive restaurant and find a big hair ball in their foie gras. When they complain the waiter says he will give them another portion of foie gras if they want it, but they will have to pay for the dinner. I hope they are made to pay and when they call to complain to the owner he sends them a coupon for a free doughnut. I hope the doughnut has a big hairball in it.

Yes, a popular misconception is that when you pay money into a meter you are paying to rent the space. The meters are there to ensure that spaces keep opening up so that businesses can have short term parking for their shoppers who run in for quick sales or service ie; dry cleaner, bank, coffee shop. Yeah they do chalk the tires. If a person gets caught kicking the chalk off the fine is HUGE and it also might involve a possible jail time if the judge so decides. I think they charge with obstruction of a law officer or obstruction of justice or something egregious. ------ The McDonalds coupons in my area will say one coupon per person per visit, and then it goes on to define that a "visit" must be at least an hour apart from each other. It is also printed that they have the right to refuse any coupon based on their discretion.

Starbaby, I don't believe that did or would ever happen. It just seems way too far fetched. I did hear, and this is nasty...when I went back to my DH's family's for Christmas, this was a few years ago before we were married, someone had been in the news for getting off in the tacos. I believe, it's been a while, it was in the sour cream. How disgusting, and it's not a big town, so people had to know who he was. Oh, and I think it was at the Taco Johns. Obviously, I don't remember the details well, but then again why would I want to? We just avoid the taco places in his home town. I'd be interested in what The Legend site has to say about this. I do believe that it happend, but wish that people wouldn't do such digusting, nasty, and intentional things.

No, not nearly as good as chick-fil-as... but not bad for free. LOL I did enjoy the chicken biscuit a LOT, but also like CHick-fil-A's better.

I had the chicken sandwich and a lemonade.

It was a juicy slice of breaded chicken with a couple of pickle slices on a soft roll -- not bad. We don't have a Chick-fil-a, so I can't compare.

I did feel a bit guilty eating it, because of the aforementioned McDonald's/Satan connection.

Although my mom used to eat at the first one ever and I've enjoyed their food since childhood, I had sworn off McDs after seeing that "Super-Size Me" movie.

Is May 15 official Free Fast Food Day? I was walking through the train station yesterday and noticed Dunkin' Donuts was giving away free iced coffee. I like iced coffee, so I queued up and got mine. A nice little treat.

Petaloid, if you're ever in a place that has a Chick-fil-A, go get one. They are SO good. They are exactly like the McDonalds one (I still think CFA should sue McD's for stealing their sandwhich idea (the ORIGINAL chicken sandwich) but the CFA ones are SO much tastier. Seriously. Their chicken is awesome.

P.S. I don't like pickles, so I got it the same way I have my CFA sandwiches... no pickles, but with mayo.

The best thing about Chick-Fil-A is their cow mascot. Teh one around here comes to various event walking around urging people to "Eat more chicken!" LOL, it cracks me up.
