Cadmium levels in Rock Phosphate

Hi,

A book about organic gardening highly recommended Rock Phosphate to bring up Phosphorus levels. My soil is very deficient, despite numerous applications of compost over the last several years. However, talking to someone recently about having so much trouble finding anyone that carries Rock Phosphate, I was told it was because it was found to have high levels of Cadmium. I just found a place that has Espoma, Rock Phosphate, but looking up the info online, I found an analysis that states Cadmium at 60.3 ppm... Seams a little high to me, and not attractive for use in an organic vegetable garden that will be feeding my family.

Thoughts?
