Wooden Utensils

Josh

Preamble (because I tend to ramble...lol) I use a small tv for the net. It sits on small table right behind my music-stand which holds my remotes, ashtray, books, magazine. I'm using a long wooden spoon to reach over all this to adjust my tv antennae and noticed how good it feels in my hand.

When I took up serious cooking in early 1970's everyone had a crock of wooden utensils on the kitchen counter. I still do, and use then often, particularly the wooden scissor-tongs and spaghetti lifter. Also have a tiny pair of wooden tongs with magnet that lives on side of toaster oven. Just replaced a few spoons a year or so ago....now made from bamboo.

I also have a few utensils of some type new-age material which I often use, so just curious...do you still stir with wood? josh
