Try something new for edible plantings that are more productive than ever
Full StoryHi All!
Like many of you each year I have problems with my cucumbers because of the striped beetle's damage. And every year I say the same thing, "Never again." But I planted cucumbers this afternoon 5/29.
Trying to plant organically can be problematic, especially in this case. I read on the Forum for the first time after searching that radish seeds and a straw mulch can help.
My questions to you is, how many radish seeds for each hill and how deep should the straw mulch be? And will the radish seeds germinate and grow and/or should I add more seeds at anytime?
Thanks in advance for your helpful information
