I agree we the people have to do something about all these unnecessary toxins.. One thing I didn't see brought up, pharmaceuticals! I think that's where we are the real guinea pig!

So what ? Are you serious? Just so what? Oh so what, just got poisons injected in me.. So what millions of people die from are "state of the art" pharmaceuticals.. Dig a deeper, you wouldn't call allopathic medicine life saving.. We can't sit at the side lines saying so what, we can't do anything about it.. We can make change! If we keep thinking we are incapable, we are going to be incapable! We can't keep nonchuluntly pushing everything off.. We have to stand up some time or anything.. Until then, embrace the poisons.. Just be aware... Very aware..

My aunt makes a living "testing" out new products.. I think she's nuts...

Interesting to see different views.. From the "so what", to me being so extreme...

Some of the manifestations of this onslaught of chemical stews are far more prevalent allergies, skyrocketing rates of asthma, earlier sexual maturity in children, higher cancer rates, lower sperm counts in men, on and on.

What astounds me is that we increasingly accept it as 'normal', and wait for someone to come up with some drug to cure it.

That "So What" attitude is scary.

That "so what" attitude is reality. Reality can be scary. We wouldn't be where we are now if the majority of people stand up for what's right. The majority of people have that "so what" mentality. David hit the nail on the head, everybody thinks it's normal.

it adds to others sufferings, so one can put the topic on the back burner.

we are humans not guinea pigs or lab rodents, so chem' co's and their cohorts can make profit, look at the hue and cry over animal use in testing beauty applications, a totally unnecessary products.

and "so what also means we are being made to accept a 50/50 risk factor by science chemist so they can get product onto shelves making returns for greedy shareholders.

every time the shoulders are shrugged "so what" someone suffers. the aunt who tests products could have certain reasons for doing so, but what do those who collect test data do with it?

and human testing samples are too small in number, as is it too small in number what the compounds they test, and then no testing of products in cocktail.

nowadays due to the animal libbers, they can't use too many lab animals specifically bred to give certain results, and as i just shaved yesterday i for one human did not look like a lab rodent.

don't the medics say we are all different how we work inside, look at CFS it is an anomaly, limited testing to show what really causes it so no management that delivers results across the board.

i have T2DB's, i have to try different natural controls to keep control, the medical system can do nothing to control it. started with what now looks like an incorrect diagnosis, but they still don't test fro anymore than T2 indicators(note the word indicator)

they are making their profits now and making more pushing T2's onto insulin. "so what" hey?

I'm becoming more aware of chemicals in what I live with and consume. Most is inescapable, but I do what I can, bit by bit. I am tossing out my lipstick today. I look carefully at what I buy. We use the old things as long as we can, to avoid bringing new things with chemicals in them into the house. We don't buy food from other countries when we can avoid it. We grow more and more of our own. Clothing worries me too.

Sitting on the flame retardant infused couch looking at the particle board file cabinet, the drapes, the rug, the computer, the tv, the asbestos shingles outside... ack!

I have been concerned about this for sometime now. It is hard to get away from all this stuff, But, I am llittle by little finding things I can make or grow myself rather buy in the store.That is the only choice. I was shocked that a big shot from Monsanto was appointed head of FDA. I guess most people had the same so what attitude..

Whom else to put in charge if not the people that are supposed to be regulated? Its not as if you are putting the fox in charge of the henhouse.

It is only scare tactics to make the sheeple focus on something other than the real issues of our handlers from government. We need to realize that we are helpless to do anything about what is going on.
"Monsanto running our food protection agency"? What is anyone going to do about that? Nothing!
Maybe whine about it on a garden site, but that's about it. :)

...and try to align yourself with a real protest group...or start one on your own. ...or get involved in government.

There's a lot of really ineffective protest groups out there because when they talk to people in power (from farmers, to policy makers, to policy pushers) they sound like idiots because they're getting their ammo from really crap sources. If you come at a farmer, policy maker, or policy pusher with stuff like "2-4,D = Agent Orange" you've already lost your battle and you should probably question the organization that gave you that battle cry.

People are quick to question what they want to fight against without digging into the information given to them by organizations they believe are on their side. This kind of stuff is exactly the kind of stuff they wouldn't tolerate from "the other side."

For reference...check out what The Organic Consumers Associate fed their readers/supporters vs the actual petition they wanted people to sign and send to representatives on the subject of 2,4-D GMOs. They very commonly arm people with really horrible information in order to push an agenda based on fear. They could give real/useful information, but getting numbers behind a petition is more important. If you use these talking points on farmers, policy makers, and policy pushers you will absolutely nowhere because you're using nonsense as a tool in your battle. This isn't the kind of information you arm your base with...it does them no good in an intelligent conversation about policy.

Not every issue can be solved via the "Pink Slime shaming" of a product off the market.

Do what you can, get involved, educate yourself and others . . . and then have faith in something greater than yourself (even if it's the power of your garden to keep you healthy) or else the fear, and the stress it causes, will kill you faster than all the chemicals.
