Most of the women at my church also wore green. My town is in bloom and looks beautiful. We have an Azalea Festival each year and it's in progress. There are marked trails through some of our older neighborhoods.People come from out of state to see it.Wish you all could see.

Good to hear from everyone. The hair dos turned out great and we had alot of fun. Do I want to do it again? Not sure.LOL It snowed all day so I didn't go to the parade. We ended up with company and had a nice evening visiting tho. Had more company on Sun. so didn't get my training done either.Yikes... I have a hard time sleeping most nights due to my hips and groin hurting, just can't get comfortable. I've noticed I don't sleep as much as I use to on a daily basis. After so many nights of this I finally get home, eat dinner and before I know it I'm alsleep on the sofa. Don't wake up for 12 hours. I've been on fosamax for years and hope this doesn't have anything to do with that. Punk

Happy (belated) St. Patrick's Day! :) Since I am new to this place, I got a bit delayed in wishing you all. So, how do you generally celebrate St.Patrick's day at home? In our home,we just started celebrating it last year after my son pestered us about it. I was searching online for things to do this St.Patrick's Day and came across this list of easy and fun to do St.Patrick's Day activities. Happy St. Patrick's Day back at you! We justs finished dinner, but thankfully, DH didn't make corned beef & cabbage. Instead we had a delicious potato soup & lamb stew. Just as traditional, I think &, IMO, it tastes a whole lot better.

More traditional, I'm sure. I ended up with corned beef for supper tonight, but it really didn't have anything to do with St. Pat's. Just hungry for it. I've had Reuben sandwiches on the brain for a week now, and too busy to go buy one, and didn't have the cheese to make one.

Just got back in. Spent the afternoon and early evening on the soccer field. My knee be not speaking to me.

Thanks to the Vox Populi that is Youtube we can listen the Great Irish poet William Butler Yeats reading his poetry aloud. **** Never mind what Heinlein says about that **** It took the Irish to produce works in English that we haven't seen since the great writings of the Elizabethan era. Shakespeare, and all that.

P.S. Don't set your plate below table level around here. One of three greedy vacuum cleaners finished my supper for me, to my surprise.

No matter, there's more in the cabinet and fridge.

P.P.S. Maudie should treated him better.

Table level? If I want to step away from my dinner plate around here the only safe place is in the microwave with the door closed.

The microwave is not even safe around here.

Sarah and Sydney (the monkeys) know how to work the microwave and the frig door and the cabinet doors and the pantry door...
