The clocks sprang forward, I woke at the same "time" as always: the crack of dawn, clocks were saying :"you overslept". The cats got their breakfast as always, I followed my routine as always, forget about the clocks.

It is almost time to make the rounds, feed goats and chickens, they donÂt care what the hour is called, they go by another flow entirely.

Watching the news last night, I had to laugh at the weather people. California weather is rather boring anyway, at least most of the time, so they are really trying hard to make it interesting, love it when there is a little rain on week-ends, and oh, if it rains during the commute, they make the most of it. So this is a nice, mild and mostly sunny weekend, and we re-set the clock and here is inanity: "enjoy the extra hour of sunshine"Âduh?

"it makes up for the hour of missed sleep" duh? How about going to bed an hour earlier?

And how does the hour of missed sleep provides you with an extra hour of sunshine?
