Okay guy, you know you'e got 'em; this addictive behavior can't just be limited to orchids! So fess up, what other addictions do you have?

Myself, I've already outed myself on my addiction to reality/competition television. I'm also big video game addict; that's right, a 33-year-old female who loves video games! I have a Playstation 3 and a Gamecube, and am saving for an Xbox 360. I have two televisions side-by-side in my living room, so i can watch TV and play at the same time! An employee at Gamestop asked my opinion on the latest game a couple of months ago, he said he wanted the opinion of a "hard-core gamer", and it made me feel so good!!!

Many people tell me I'm addicted to my dogs. I have a Greyhound, a Jack Russell terrier, and a long-haired dachshund puppy. I love to spend time with them, and even do agility with Lolly, the dachshund. I love to talk about them and show pictures to everyone!

My other main addiction is sunflower seeds. I'm actually mildly allergic to them so I can't eat too many at once, but I eat them every day. i can't stand to not have any in the hous eand will go to the store at midnight in my jammies if I run out!

Okay who else is nuts.....?

Household robots are my current obsession.

The sunflower seed thing cracked me up, because I'm totally addicted to candy coated fennel seeds. When I went to the endocronologist, he said that a lot of the heart pounding, dizziness, etc. was probably because I was suffering fennel toxicity. I quit eating them for a week and I felt a lot better so I'm now regimented.

It is neck and neck roses running equal to shoes, since I rent. Despite having an intention to simplifiy my life and buy fewer things that I don't need, which includes shoes I don't wear and roses bought or grown from cuttings on impulse 88 of those in the past. I've acquired 3 pairs of shoes that I bought more than a year ago and have not worn yet, though two are very stylish, black leather with ankle straps, one with leather pleating on the toe area, ( I love ankle straps and kitten heels). In addition to c. 12 other various footware, flats, heels, -one strappy pair of be-jeweled thongs, to wear with sundresses. - Doc Martin black leather boots, for Halloween mostly as I've outgrown mosh pits. - a demure pair of low cream heels for church on Sundays, and Evensong. --blue plastic beach thongs -two pairs of Clarks sandals, in brown and navy. - two pairs of sneakers, white, and blue. -Mary Janes Roses, I went from having c. 200 to care for, to c. 14 last time I counted, the problem is of renting. Still looking for a house to buy, or rather property to plant a rose garden, with a house on it. Note the roses come first. Oh, to have what Melissa has.... it is hard not to desire such vast beauty for my own, 500 roses in Tuscany, and to share it with loved ones. Lux.

I love a real book. Though I am extremely clumsy and I sometimes tend to loose my spot, mainly cause I will fall asleep with the book in hand. Then it ends up on my face, then of course I ROLL. Oh me, sometimes I may spend at least 30 mins to an hour trying to find where I was reading and thinking wait I read that already. E-reader with the kindle app is WONDERFUL for people like me!! I so do not like the borders app. I haven't tried the barnes and noble yet for android but that will be my next app to install. 1000's of free books with the kindle app!!! They even have a kindle app for windows users.

LOL! We've had pretty good luck with our CPs too but have kept it to a minimum due to lack of space. One VFT we've had for over four years and finally split it at the beginning of the summer--all four new plants are doing fine and are putting out small red-mouthed, hungry traps. The pitcher plants have been around a while too and the large pitchers are spilling over the top of the terrarium they're in and now line the sides of the glass--they look beautiful! I bought a new book called 'The Savage Garden' and I am now ready to go on to the advanced level of CP gardening. LOVE CPs--they are like nothing else.

If you were planting seeds right now, it could save you. It's like this ... as soon as your feet hit the floor in the morning, you grab a cup of coffee and run for the closeted bowl of soaking seed packets. You then eye each one carefully to search for sprouted seeds. Then the real fun begins ... punch holes in cups, write crosses on them with a Sharpie, stuff them full of seed starter mix, make marks around the rims where you plant the seeds, punch litte oval holes in the mix with the eraser end of a pencil, gently place the seeds on their sides, cover them barely, set them in a pan of water, and put a baggie over the cup. You then refill the seed packets with fresh solution, stuff them back in the closet, and by then it is 12 noon. It then takes awhile to clean up your mess. This goes on and on, ad infinitum. In the meanwhile, you peer at all the cups of planted seeds to search for GREEN - the signal to remove the baggies. This should help you deal with your addiction, once the flowers have quit blooming. You might spend the afternoons tilling up more ground and adding compost, sand, alfalfa pellets, or other interesting additions. And don't forget to pull off the yellowing leaves every day - and pull up any invading weeds while you are at it. If you'd come on and move down here to Texas, you could also fight our fire ants --- get them before they get you! All of the above will not cure your addiction, but it will take the edge off it. Addictions....there are so many...

Pistachios currently and coffee. Used to be addicted to Mt. Dew. Why? Cuz it was like taking a shower on the inside!

I was addicted to tropical plants and carnivorous plants before orchids. Used to be addicted to buying CD's and smoking ganja/taking drugs. I collected dragons and wooden puzzle boxes obsessively. I'm addicted to tv and media in general, including some reality shows. Cigarettes.

Lord of the Rings and now Harry Potter. Computers. Used to be a freak for online cribbage. I'm obsessed with killing squirrels, mosquitoes, and snails, lately. Sports. Stringed instruments, concerts, covered parking, exotic fruits. I'm sure there are more...but I must go outside to kill some snails and have a smoke.

It's not as bad on your teeth, unless your water pressure is too high! ;~)

Other than my Darlingtonia's, Sarrs and a few Pings, I can't seem to grow them anymore! :~(

Sci-fi/fantasy books, animation art, travel, coffee, vodka...!

I haven't been into video games since Atari's Pong and Asteroids!
My mom and I stayed up half the night playing it.
(Mid-70's sometime, I guess!)
It was for my brother and we were just testing it out! ;~)
Gawd! I'm feeling old!

Otherwise...far more than we really needed to know! ;~)
Especially, if they are Thai she-male's! ;~)
