Twice a day is correct, but not for a month. I would say 2 weeks. I have the timer set up to water at 5:00 am and 8:00 pm. Does this sound like an OK schedule? Yes and No. The 5:00am is perfect. The 8pm setting is too late. With the Florida heat/sun, your lawn would benefit from being watered in the afternoon, say between 2 and 4pm. Your main goal is to not let the sod/soil completely dry out between waterings until your lawn becomes established. Here is a general guideline to follow. (this has worked for me) Week 1 and 2: Water twice a day. 5am and around 2 or 4pm (don't let the sod get crispy) Week 3 and 4: Water Once daily, around 10 or 11am. Week 5: Water every other day around 10 or 11am. Week 6 and ongoing: water early between 4 and 6am when lawn starts to wilt with 3/4 to 1 inch of water. About once or twice a week at most. About the yellow spots. This is from lack of sun while sitting on the pallet. It will go away soon. Patti, I actually checked out the David Austin website yesterday before making my final purchases to read some about them. There is SO much confusion in the world of roses because there is SO much to know! I have been attracted to his roses for a few years now and decided I better do some research to find out what I was getting myself into before I took the plunge. I read about them being hardy and disease resistant but I won't be convinced until I see it for myself and by being disease resistant, does that mean I'll still need to have a spraying/feeding schedule? Also, as far as planting them goes, I'm going to use your recommendations as well as reading up on as much as I can find. They are supposed to be here in a day or two which unfortunately is a little sooner than I had planned so I'm going to have to keep them wet in a bucket in the garage until I can get the holes prepared for planting. DH and I are in the middle of building a picket fence playyard for my daycare kiddies and being the gardener that I am, I could not overlook the opportunity to create a "garden" out of it. I won't plant inside of it but I plan to create flowing beds all along the perimeter of the outside of it. Adding a birdbath and birdhouse or two in the name of inviting butterflies and birds in for the children to enjoy. Whatever works right? lol! There is nothing but grass there now so I have my work cut out for me. I haven't even formed the beds yet. Is that putting the cart before the horse or what?! I do have a bed in front of my house that I plan to put at least one maybe two of the D.A. and then two on either side of the gate to the play-yard. I currently have a H.T. called Bella Rosa in the front bed. It was the typical scenario of getting suckered in by the gorgeous blooms. She and I have a love/hate relationship. I love her when she's blooming and healthy and hate her when she's not! I've only had her for a year now so that should give you some idea of my crazy obsession with these things! Oh my poor husband! I used to be a construction lender and there's various titles that they use like coordinator etc.. One of my clients, a non profit, built their center and they paid $200K to a consultant for 8 months just to be there and watch everything. This was built in 2000 so that was a big chunk of change. One of the GCs that I hired on this kitchen remodel worked part time for $100K just to oversee a new home build for a guy from out of state. He was hired based on 11 yrs of being a city structural engineer before going out in his own. His qualifications still meant diddle as he quit my job one day after signing a contract with me because he didn't know how to deal with my city on a repiping dispute over the concrete slab. When I built my last home, despite custom from a large builder, I had to be onsite for an hour every day to force them to fix sloppy work. In addition, I had to clean up after work every day because of all the food and trash they throw in the wall studs.

20' can easily be accommodated, I've put in systems before with in some cases line sets as long as 100'. Just realize long line set runs require extra work and line set length requirements are not just length but also rise / drop from where the condenser sits. Yes piping, electrical wires etc. will have to be run to the condenser. The longer the line set run, you may minimize your choice among brands as some brands allow less in the amount of length / drop / rise in the line set. But at 20' total length any brand can handle that no problem provided the equipment is installed properly. If this is moving your AC condenser from current location you should NOT reuse the current line set in any fashion. Replace the whole thing to proper size. The HVAC contractor you choose should be well versed in things such as this, otherwise serious problems could follow.
