Gravel Driveways.

We are about to move into a three year old house with a gravel driveway. The gravel is about 0.5 to 1.5 inches in size, The drive ends at the garage slab and at a concrete slab that goes over a small culvert in the front of the house. There is adequate drainage as the drive goes up a slight slope. The drive look in good shape.

My father had a crushed stone drive that always looked nice, so I would like to use crushed stone for the surface of driveway. To keep everything in place and delineate I would like to edge the driveway.

One idea I have is at the local big box. They have blocks that are designed to interlock with a concave and convex ends and are about 16" long. These looked good as being interlocked it would help keep them together and in a straight line. Problem is they are only they are only about 4" deep. (16"l X 3"w X 4"d.)

I am looking for suggestions.
