At what point do you worry about POA?

For years (before I moved in last year), the front corner of my property burned out every summer. Last summer, my first summer in the house, the same thing happened. The culprit was POA. I remember looking at it in the spring, not knowing what it was. It looked nice and thick, but it was almost neon in color and definitely stood out from the rest of the lawn.

I am happy to say that the early indication is that I don't have nearly as much POA as last year....but I do have it. But rather than being concentrated in one spot, there are a few blades of it every foot or so in some areas. You only notice it when you really look. But, as a lawn nut, I am the type that really looks.

Should I be concerned about it?
