Can anyone please help me Id some of my plants so I can look up info on them. The first group of pics are plants I already know. On the second group, I could really use your help on identifying..I will number them.....

All these pics were taken within the last week..

Also if there a plant here anyone has advice to give me on, please let me..I would really appreciate it..

Mike, Beautiful plants! I think the 2nd one is some kind of philodendren and #6 is goldfish plant.

It looks like a young Philodendron selloum to me. The leaves will get more shape with better light and age. Be sure not to overwater this plant. They are pretty tough, only time will tell if too many roots have been taken off. I think it will be fine though. Good luck! Jen

Can I just say what great pictures you provided? Really useful detail and also full habit shots. So often people post close ups or birds eye views which are really hard to id from. Although they are US trees which I don't know too well your detailed pics told me that we were dealing with an ash albeit not the ones I know and a Koelreutheria which is beginning to appear more commonly in the UK as the climate warms up.

#3 is Crassula ovata 'Gollum' 'Skinny Fingers' is a variety of 'Gollum' and thier is one more variety called 'Coral' that came from Europe a giant form the the above mentioned' Gollum' You have several 'Jade' plants in the pictures. One is very white and may not live. You also have a plant that looks like "Jade" but I believe could be Senecio 'Jacobsonii' which is a trailing plant. Don't let it fool you. The one with the red flowers, it 'Red Apple' can't recall the "Latin name" oh, yes 'Apetina". I am so glad to see that you are interested in names, many people are not and tease me because I am. Jo Jo I am pretty sure that you are right about #5 Crassula platyphylla This one of the reasons we need to know the names, if you have a problem with one of these just tell me that name, and see If we can be of help. What a great kitchen! The main piece of advice I would offer is this: get rid of excess plastic containers. I had zillions of rubbermaid containers that didn't nest at all. I thought I needed every shape and size out there, so I bought far more than I could ever use. After we renovated our kitchen, I gave myself one drawer for plastic stuff. That's it. Now, it's a big drawer, but I have a family of nine people, so we still need quite a bit. First, I tossed or gave away that which would not nest. I standardized on 8" squares that fit into one another. I bought 6 of these and I've never needed more. All the lids are the same size. I have deep rectangular rubbermaid containers for holding flour and sugar in my baking cabinet. I have round containers for lunch boxes: my husband takes leftovers for lunch every day and reheats them in these lightweight containers that are as sturdy as regular rubbermaid. In this drawer I also store two rubbermaid butter dishes, three nesting funnels, 2 two-quart plastic pitchers, 2 small mixing bowls and 2 large mixing bowls, plus about 12 measuing cups from 4-cup to 1/4-cup in size. The key for my kitchen is that any plastic container we have is in this drawer. So I've gone from cupboards and drawers of plastic containers and measuring supplies to one single drawer. I will add that I have a plastic pasta scoop and larger colander that I store under the prep sink. I never save even the nicest of plastic containers that food might come in. If we ever need more, I can use a storage container from another part of the house, wash it out, then put it back when I'm done (like when I need to bring 60 cupcakes to school). I've also done the same sort of thing for lunch boxe supplies and ingredients. I have a baking center, which is to the right of the oven. My baking center is really just an upper cabinet with wire storage things inside that make it easy to cram a lot of stuff in a 30" wide cabinet. I do store extra baking mixes and flour/sugar in my lazy susan cabinet. I don't have a pantry. All of our health food is in another cabinet, near the blender where we make our protein shakes. I bought white plastic wirer coated shelves at the container store to stack dishes and baking goods in those cupboards. And also these tall, narrow two shelf units that fit under my sinks which sit next to the plumbing. They aren't really deep but just hold the basics in view (stuff tends to migrate to the back of the sink cabinet). I also got rid of excess pots and pans. I figured that if my pots and pans couldn't fit into one base cabinet, that I would have a hard time keeping tabs on those as well. My baking pans and cutting boards store vertically in a cabinet designed to hold tall thin items. You have so much wonderful space. If you can be judicious with how you plan your storage, you will find that you can even keep major seasonal items in your pantries as well, or gift wrap, etc. In fact, it looks like you could even put a desk in one of your pantries. I think the poster above me has most right. In order from the very first pic here are my thoughts:

Pic #9 down from top - I highly doubt is Euphorbia leuconeura, but rather a Plumeria (common name Frangipani). What variety/ cultivar it is I could not tell you, but im just about 100% sure its Plumeria.

Pic #12 down from the top is most likely Philodendron "moonlight".

Pic # 15 down from the top: Common name is Swedish Ivy

Sorry, I too cannot help you with the last photo (#17). It vaguely resembles coffee, but the flowers are not right for it to be that.

I love love love your citrus, plumerias (if it is correctly identified) and desert rose! 3 plants on my christmas wish list! :)

All your plants look like their doing great! I also have a Dieffenbachia and have been unable to ID it! Yay its got a name now!

I remembered where I bought the last plant everyone had a problem identifying....At Logees..So I looked it up and yes I found it...Very fregrant besides!

It seems like some people are having trouble understanding what Mike was asking. What he said was "The first group of pics are plants I already know. On the second group, I could really use your help on identifying..I will number them." I take this to mean that he already knows what the un-numbered plants are, and is looking for IDs for the numbered plants. I'll see what I can name:

#1: looks more like an Aglaonema, but could be a Dieffenbachia
#2: some type of self-leading/non-vining Philodendron
#3: looks like a Cordyline to me, too
#4: definitely "Pink Princess" Philodendron
#5: Swedish Ivy

Mike, your plants are very very nice. Are they the plants you got on your recent trip to Logees?
I thought #7 and 17 the same plant? I though 7 was Sweet Olive/Osmanthus.
Your African Gardenia is the largest I'd ever seen..WOW. Are its flowers fragrant? If so, is the scent similar to citrus?

Out of the entire group, your Cordy will probably be the most work. Cordy's are mite magnets, so showering is mandatory. Very nice haul..Toni

I think you are right! I have been noticing the leaves looking limp on the cordy, and it never occured to me to check for mites!!!!

I thought they were like that because of a transplant 2 weeks ago..Shoot, I will look tommorrow..Thankyou

All of the plants were aquired all over the place through the years....Some at Logees, and some at Mahonies, even some at Home Depot..Yup. Home Depot..lol. Of course the ones that I wanted to save...;lol

My last visit to Logees aquired me a couple of camellia plants and a blood orange about 5 inches high and already in bloom..Also meeting a couple of nice garden forum members..

Wish you could see this place..I owe you some pics and need to ask you for a few suggestions later..

A room of its own!!!!!!Unbeliebvable....Should I toss it or continually treat it...The thought of a magnet does not sit well with me..:-(

Mike, no don't toss your Cordy. Its very pretty. nice colors.

In winter, Cordy's need more work than most other plants, but eventually, after it adpats to your conditions, it should do okay...but with work..

Was it potted 'in the pot and soil' when you bought it? Or did you repot?

Mike, take it to the sink the next 3 days..Sprinkle a couple drops of dish soap on the leaves, kneed into leaves and stems, then rinse off. Let air dry..Place in medium, no direct sun, spot.
Whether you use my insecticide or store-bought, apply on the 4th day, then as often as the container recommends.
If you use my stuff spray twice, 'after day 4' a wk two two wks, then once a wk.
The mites should be gone by then, but I'd give it a once-a-wk shower, plus daily misting.
What size is its pot? Toni
