I have a cornucopia of weeds growing wild. I know I have clover, chickweed, wild onions, dandelions, bittercress, and crabgrass. Last fall, I aerated and seeded with Scotts Landscaper's Mix. Then spread starter fertilizer. I may have overdone it since my lawn never went dormant all winter. Anyhow, there are some unknown weeds I am not familiar with. I think one is poa because of all the seed heads. The one with the purple flowers is out of control. Last weekend I sprayed Bayer season long weed killer and put down Scotts fertilizer with halts for the crabgrass invasion. I have not seen crabgrass seedlings so I hope it works. The Bayer weed killer didn't really kill, more like injured but this could be because it rained afterwards. The bottle did say rainproof in 1 hour though. I would appreciate any advice that the experts here can offer. Maintaining a lawn is a new experience for me, but I have learned tons just by reading the posts here.
