Side by side sod

I've got a picture of my Sod. It's two different pieces of sod that was installed two weeks apart. My concern is that one of them is not 419. The lower growing grass looks to me like 419. The higher stuff kinda looks similar. But the two grows completely different.

Is it the same stuff or not?

What is different about them? How long have they been down? Did you water them the same when you put them down? And, where do you live?

It's been down for a month or so. I live in northeast ga. I watered them every day for the month. This week I'm cutting back to twice a day for longer time. Then I'll finally get to once a week.

They were installed a week apart. They look different in the yard as you can see from the picture. One grows low the other high.

Lynn, is that a new stove too? What I'm asking is, will it have higher BTU's? My new stove really "kicks out" to the sides when it ignites the burner, please be careful. The stove manufacturer usually lists the required minimum clearances for surrounding cabinets/walls with a diagram right in the front of the stove manual. Personally, I'd be worried about a fire hazard with everything in such close proximity. I think the new wood fridge cabinet is going to restrict the fridge's heat exhaust and to me, seems dangerously close to the burners. How about a stainless steel heat shield on the side wall (and behind the stove) instead of tile? Also, make sure your new microwave vents out enough of the heat from the stove. Some of those microwave fans are less powerful, or recirculating air back into the room and not exhausting out (I don't know what you're installing). Good luck!

I had a 42" SZ side by side in my apartment before renovating. When I redid the kitchen, I put in a 36" french door over under model. There are several things about a side by side which I dislike--consider and see if you care: (1) in the side by side, the fruit and vegetable drawers are on the bottom whereas they are at a more convenient waist-height in the over under model--to me that is the real deal breaker; (2) in a side by side, the freezer is not wide enough--sometimes, I would need to put a sheet pan or similar item in the freezer and there was no room to lay it flat--annoying but not as big a deal as the placement of the produce drawers and (3) I found the multiple drawers in the freezer to hold less than the large divided drawer in the over under model--not that big a deal but definitely a minus.

LOL. Yes......my guess its either the thermistor or the board but I do not know enough to troubleshoot them. I have a guy coming by to look at it tomorrow. The videos have a sensor shown which AFAIK is the only one there but looks nothing like the part I am calling a thermistor. I cannot find any part that looks like the sensor which I would expect to see in the inside somewhere. The thermistor is actually attached to the compressor.

I’m comparing fridge / freezer columns (sub zero or Thermador, 30” fridge and 18” freezer) with a side by side from sub zero (48”). It seems side by side offers more cu ft than columns. What are the reasons for one vs the other?

I am a rookie when it comes to determining side by side sod of bermuda. Hopefully TexasWeed will chime in on the post.

The taller bermuda is probably common bermuda.
The shorter is some sort of hybrid.
I want to lean toward Celebration as it has a green-blue color to it.

How can I find out for sure. I paid for 419.

Send an email to the place you bought it from and see what the can do to fix the problem. When was the last time you fertilized. that shorter bermuda could be tif that is starving for some food.

If TW responds I will stand corrected, but I have raplaced a lot of sod over the years. My opinion: both are 419, just cut from different times or locations on the farm. Heck even from different pallets can look like this. Don't fret. Treat them the same and by middle summer you shouldn't be able to tell the difference.
