Hi everyone !!

Just an update for you all. I have waited to try and get all the seed request packets in BEFORE mailing any out, so for some that mailed in really early, this is why it's taking longer. I do plan on getting most of them in the mail tomorrow. I sent out my address in emails to 12 people, and...
I received 10 requests, so I think that's great !!!

Anyone who posted, then emailed me privately , yes I did send an email to with my address. I was very organized about it. If you just posted, but did not email me, then you didn't get an email. I didn't have time to track anyone down. You might check , maybe my email went into a junk folder by accident, it happens :o)

I just wanted to thank you all for your kindness and sweet words. It has been a joy sharing my seeds with you. Some of you, your seeds mailed yesterday, so don't worry, it will be worth the wait.
Today I received an email from a woman, who sent me a long list of plants, not plain ordinary plants, but rare plants, that she wanted me to send her for postage. It made me angry. Yes it did. I thought it was rude, because I had not posted plants for postage, and to just up and email a complete stranger, with a detailed list of expensive plants, and ask them to dig your plants up in your yard to send them for postage is rude. I dont' do it. When I was a newbie I didn't do it. So I told her I thought it was rude, and then at the end of my email I softened it a bit and told her she should make some crafts, or go find plants that she can split for trade. Then I get a nasty email , apparently from her friend, and I get blasted for hurting this woman's feelings, telling me how rude I was, and a few other things. How ridiculous, seriously. I have given away over 200 packs of seeds this year, and did a sedum give away. Over the past 5 years I've given away ,I'm sure ,thousands of packs of seeds, and many more plants. I often will give away seeds if somebody emails me and asks nicely for them for postage even if I'm not doing a giveaway. I'm not a selfish person by any means, but I do like plain old good manners. I am not going to let this person, or her friend, deter me from enjoying this website and sharing my plants and seeds with others. I just couldn't believe I received these emails today. Blew my mind.

I think I received your seeds today. There was no note and no return address label so it is hard to say. The envelope was decorated with halloween stickers. The seeds included columbine, field pumpkin, elephant head, orange cosmos, bachelor button, swan gourd, and white patty pan squash. If these were from you, Thank you very much. I can't wait to try growing the gourds and the elephant head amaranthus...looks like a lot of fun...and I can spend the winter painting the gourds.

Cheryl, donÂt let it get to you. I don't do sase for plants anymore either. It got to be too much stress, and a complicated challenge. The last time I remembered putting in a garden is suppose to be a relaxing experience.

I know the people who did received your great seeds are very thankful for your generosity.

The plants you sent me are doing just great, and I hope the ones I sent you are doing as well in their new home.

I never offered just any seeds off my list for sase. I offered, around the first of October, a mixed SASE for seeds I had to give. It was potluck. And it is over, yes, I am no longer offering seeds for sase.
