Darnit, wind and rain flattened my garden last night

Hey all,

We got 2 1/2 inches of rain here last nigh with more on the way today. I like rain and all, but whats with all these extremes lately? Record breaking 100 inches of snow after 10 years of little to no snow, 12 inches of rain in 2 days in may followed by a month of near-drought in june, followed by all this rain again this past week. Everything comes in extremes nowadays. Somethings up.

Sorry about the segway. What I really want to know is if anyones had any luck with standing tasseling sweet corn back up. My idea is to drive a T-post at each end of the row and pull a twine string tight underneath the stalks. The rows are 20 feet long, so it's not like I'm pulling hundreds of feet of twine. Will this work? Anyone have any other ideas?

The potatoes were flattened , but there's nothing I can do about that. The butternut squash is worse for the wear, and I'll just straighten it out as best I can. Everything else looks like it weathered it. I'll post pics after work.
