OK to plant multiple trees on standard rootstock in one hole?

I just finished planting 3 bareroot nectarines in one hole - each tree's trunk is about 20 inches apart from the neighbor. I bought all 3 on Nemaguard rootstock (Dave Wilson) and they are labeled as "Standard". Now I am beginning to wonder if I did the wrong thing? I am not sure if "standard" trees can be grown this way or not. I have mostly seen references of semi-dwarf and ultr-dwarfs planted many to a hole. Are "standard" trees too large for this type of growing? If so, I can dig them out and rethink my strategy. Please advise.
