old-fashioned SINGLE marigolds anyone?

Hi, I use to have these great old marigolds, singles mostly, bi-colors, some that would turn bronze, almost brown. Some were red, orange, yellow, two-toned, unusual looking. Loved these beauties, as they did not look like what the garden centers carried. Some were tall and some were medium and short. They were just plain old fashioned single marigolds. I misplaced my seed and didn't plant these for a few years. This year I found them and started some under lights in the basement. Well you guessed it, nothing is germinating!!! Too old I guess. I am sick about this. I loved these singles so much. Anyone on this forum have any of this seed? I'll have to make a list of seeds I have saved, maybe someone will want to trade. Thanks!
