Another Peach Tree Pruning Question

Im planting my two peach trees tommorow morning and havent quite decided about how Im going to prune them. The trees are potted. The guy at the nursery called them "5-gallon" trees, but the container looks more like 2 or 3 gallon. The two trees are 4 foot and about 5-5 1/2 foot. From what I've read online on the Texas A&M site about pruning stone fruit it says that I should cut them down to about 24" high, leaving the trunk only. Pruning away any branches. I believe this is probably just for newly planted bare-root trees but it doesnt specify. Would I prune my trees the same way since I bought them in a container? From what I've read on this forum, nobody seems to prune their peaches this way.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick
