Is there any treatment for this?

Our apple trees are infected by the sooty molds leaving something black coated like fluid on both apples and whole tree and some kind of black fungus has spreaded on apples this year. The sooty mold spreaded in all of our orchard last year. And the reason is unknown. Tried to consult the specialists and used the Insectides and pesticides recommended by them, but sadly it didn't work. This disease is really frustrating!

Hannan, does this dsease infect only the surface or does it cause rot to the flesh? Has anyone told you that it looks like black sooty blotch, not black sooty mold? If you are still with us and reply, I’ll tell you more about this pretty common disease of apples.

Here's a link to one. Had another in my favorite folder, but Vista crashed and killed it... god bless Bill Gates, and send him some competent programers. Soon. The lost link was for a product that you just mopped on, was supposed to be invisible and last several years in a commercial setting. I don't know how the ones linked below are applied. Haven't tried any of these yet, or talked to anyone who has. If you use one, please let us know how it works out. Oh, should add I'd only use one on a pre-existing floor, not as a way to justify using a tile that is otherwise unsuitably slick. Here is a link that might be useful: no skidding

my sil had (notice past tense) a serious case of it a couple of years ago, she took to carrying a cup around in public because it made her so nauseated so quickly... she had it for almost a year... the nurse at her doctors office said she had cured her own vertigo by taking zyrtec every day ..... so lucy took her advice and takes a zyrtec or claritin every single day and hasn't had an attack for almost 2 years now on the other hand dh developed labrynthitis 18 years ago, went by ambulance to the hospital in the middle of the night, and it has never completely gone away...struggles with it daily....

Beverly, thank you for the sample renders! I lovveee the look of shutters, but I feel that for my dog I need the option to raise the shades up so he has access to look out the window. Also I think the shutters might limit some of the light coming into the space. Definitely will get a similarly sized rug as in your render, and Im also looking into large mirrors for the fireplace! I also like the light affixed to the wall which saves floor space. As for window treatments, I am now leaning towards the top down bottom up someone else suggested. I noticed there’s a day / night type— anyone recommend that? Is there a certain brand that’s better but doesn’t break the bank? Any brands or type that offer more privacy or without having to get blackout? If it is sooty blotch - and that diagnosis seems quite likely - then it has nothing to do with iron!! The disease is caused by a couple of fungal organisms and appears more frequently in warmer climates and areas with high summer humidity.

There are a number of extension service fact sheets published on the topic and they are worth researching to determine the most effective treatment options for your area.
