Please share HoopHouse Excitement! and experience

I've been wanting to build a cold frame forever. Or something like a cold frame.

But the goal was different for me.

Most folks use them for overwintering, but I was trying to figure out how to get some sun loving veggies out of my cold foggy SF summer.

So, I finally built my hoophouse. It is so exciting.

63 outside, 80 in the hoop!

I have both sides open slightly for some air circulation.

The plan was to see how the toms did in there, because every year I try and try, (cold weather varieties, a million different kinds) and I am never successful.

Since it was so hot in there this weekend, I put in some cucumber seeds, and figured, why not, let's see what happens.

If anyone has any hoop house advice, please share!

For example, will bees find their way in there? do I need to open the sides more or take the whole thing off? (i built it so that I can remove it as one piece and put it over another bed)

and I am already thinking about winter....
