Zucchini Flower Deformation

I've read around a bit, but can't seem to put the pin down on what's going on with these plants. To put it simply, the flower seems to cap the entire end of the zucchini, and then deform into an almost tumorous mess.

Above: Is the tip of one zucchini fruit, the flower measures about 2" in diameter at the base, which has grown into the fruit. As you can see, it's practically spitting out seeds from the interior of the plant.

This is my first year growing zucchini, so I'm pretty much tackling problems as they arise. So far, this little quirk only affects one plant, but it affects all fruit on that plant. However, from what I can tell, it hasn't affected the quality of the fruit, apart from the end needing to be discarded.

Advice would be much appreciated. I've already learned some helpful information from reading past posts, so thumbs up~
