Update on Fainting Ficus Tree

It had to be the heavy rains. This time, ALL of my ficus trees in containers (3) began to droop severely. After 60 days of 100+ degrees and a serious drought since last year,

we had a solid week of heavy rain (every day or night). The past two weeks were not so wet with occasional rain and sunny periods inbetween. I moved the ficus trees to a sunnier spot, tied them to the fence, and they all perked up. Now, am trying to decide whether to plant them in the ground in a sheltered location or move them to a windowless garage for the winter. They are way too big to keep inside the house any more.
