Al's Mix guard against watery tomatoes ??

I have some watery tasting tomatoes this year, partly due to the weather and partly due, I've come to learn on this forum, to my excellent overwatering abilities. LOL

I did not learn of Al's mix soon enough to use it for my tomatoes, althouhg I am enjoying it for some of my other quick crops of beans, beeets, peas and lettuce.

I am wondering of those of you using it for tomatoes, does its quick drainage help guard against watery tasting tomatoes when the weather gets overly rainy??

Thanks for the input.
