I'd be interested in any of the following if available-not sure I have anything you'd like black eyed susan - the shorter one, Goldsturm short and tall white daisies euphorbia myrsinites (monkeytail spurge) daylily, a double orange that is really pretty. heuchera with dark, solid green leaves, white flower; I don't remember the name. hardy fuchsia cuttings- many kinds, including one low growing, arching one that is slow growing but incredibly yummy. Just don't ask me for names. crocismia Lucifer crocismia ? shorter than Lucifer, with yellow orange flowers. golden feverfew threadleaf coreopsis miniature ladies mantle mexican mock orange; I have one potted up, it's about 18" tall. various pulmonaria. Some rounded leaves, some pointed leaves, some white flowered, some blue or pink flowered. I have several types of campanula, blue flowering. Some are ground cover types, some the taller kind. Campanula 'cherry bells' Christine (who looks rather greedy-I'll take whatever is leftover)

Some of my favorite daylily companions have been other lilies (oriental and asiatic), peonies, and irises. Heliopsis 'Loraine Sunshine' is gorgeous, and shasta daisies also worked very well for me. (I don't know how they'd handle slugs in the PNW, though). Nasturtiums were also a great filler among warm-colored daylilies, along with alyssum. Cosmos was nice at the back of the border; the shorter varieties would work in the middle. Chives in bloom looked nice with the pinks/whites of daylilies, and so did some of the lower hardy geraniums (cranesbills). I planted tulips and daffodils in clumps among my daylilies for early spring color, too. Finally, I loved having the rose of sharon 'Blue Bird' as a tall shrub behind my daylilies - gorgeous! (That's on my "must buy" list for the new garden; I just found it yesterday at a local nursery - hooray!) Good luck! Laurel

Belamcanda chinensis (Blackberry Lily), 3.5" pots Galanthus nivalis (snowdrops), at least 50 mixed-sized bulbs per trade, more than half of blooming size Geranium, seedlings of 'Claridge Druce' probably, 3.5" pots Geranium 'Biokovo,' small divisions Helleborus x hybridus (lenten rose), several dozen 1st year seedlings in 4- and 6-packs and a few 2d year seedlings in 3.5" pots. Parent plants are white, rose, & purple. Nandina domestica, 2d year seedlings, about 6" tall. Unnamed parent plants have reached about 4 feet. Nepeta (catmint). Unknown variety, compact & low-growing, purple flowers. 4" pots. Pulmonaria (lungwort), 3.5" pots. Seedlings of 'Mrs. Moon' (I think) Rudbeckia (black-eyed Susan), divisions, quart pots, unnamed, orange flowers, reach about 2 ft. for me. Salvia guaranitica (the species, not 'Black and Blue'), small divisions Salvia reptans (upright form), small 2d-year plant (only 1) I can dig these if anyone wants them, but won't pot up: Helianthus 'Flore Pleno' Tradescantia (spiderwort), mostly cobalt blue and purple-blue shades Ditchlilies Email sfmiller AT umd DOT edu in case the GW mail system is wonky. Trades are getting slimmer. I've been weeding out the plants I don't want over the past few years and haven't got enough of the plants I like to be able to divide much. Hope that changes in a year or two! I can bring: My seed stash 1 black walnut seedling Daylilies (unknown type but definitely not ditch lilies) Mums (yellow) Black eyed susans Grape hyacinth bulbs Lycoris bulbs Small flowered coreopsis seedlings Russian sage cuttings (roots easily in water during the spring) Star of Bethlehem bulbs (can be VERY invasive and is very poisonous to dogs and cats but perhaps in a pot it wouldn't be too bad) Hyacinthoides (wood hyacinth)-white I may not get to dig all of these (time is getting short), so let me know if you want something and I'll make sure I bring it.
