I'm planting my first container...

...I have a 14X14 square container, 10" tall and I want it in a place that is in full sun. I have bought 4 plants (not cheap! YIKES) that I really liked that were designated as being for full sun. I bought a coreopsis called Autumn Blush, a poppy called Place Pigalle, a Carex ornamental grass with the name 'buchananii' and, finally, a Creeping Jenny Aurea.

Any thoughts about potential problems that the more experienced among you can foresee? It's a barn red container and I loved the dark red/cream of the flowers, the cinnamon-ish grass and the pop that the chartreuse carpet of Creeping Jenny could provide as it covers the open spaces on the surface and spills over the edge. But, I don't really know what I'm doing.

Is my first attempt at container gardening a disaster waiting to happen?
