only half have germinated

So my question is to remove the lid or not? I have started tomatoes and peppers in the park Biodomes, and I thought ahead enough to put the tomatoes in one and the peppers in the other, but even among the tomatoes, half of the plugs have germinated and the other half haven't yet. It has only been 5 days, so there is no reason to think that the other half won't germinate. I read that I am supposed to remove the cover and provide light once they germinate. How do I best take care of these new seedlings, while keeping the humidity high enough to let the rest germinate? I have put the biodomes close under a growlight, but have left the lids on for now. How long can the lids stay on before it starts to cause problems for the already germinated seeds?
