good book on root pruning?

Hi! I came to your forum through a recommendation by the professional forum, and I apologize if I'm repeating an oft asked question. I'm recently in charge of a couple of small greenhouses which have several hundred diverse species. Most of these are root bound, so I've been potting them up. As I've been looking through your posts I've noticed root pruning is recommended to keep size in check. It does make sense to repot them at this point doesn't it? Most of these have not been in the same pot for years. Can anyone recommend a good book on this subject? Thanks! And any other advice on this subject is quite welcome!
