Help! How to keep bulbs alive until they can be replanted?

Long story short... I'm a newbie. I dug up some bulbs (from a neighbors yard who is moving), and don't know what to do with them now. Their future home isn't quite ready (hopes to be in a week or so). Is there anything I can do to keep them alive, or take good care of them, until I'm ready to replant them? Most of them still have the foliage, and some soil surrounding them.

I'd rather not wait until fall if I don't have to. Or would they have a better survival rate if I do?

I need to figure it out pretty quick. They're just laying on the ground in clumps right now & I think I can hear them crying.

Thanks in advance!

PS: We think they are either narcissus or daffodil, and maybe grape hyacinth.
