Soil question

I have memorized tapla's soil/water tutorials, but I still have this question about something I did yesterday to my Peace Lily. When I removed this large Peace Lily out of its common nursery plastic pot due to worries about root rot, I found heavy potting soil with sand and hardly noticeable amounts of bark and perlite. The soil was wet, the container bottom was wet and I had watered it 7 days earlier. So, I gently scraped away much of the heavy soil around the roots and all of the remaining soil in the pot. Here's where I may have goofed: My ratio mix for the remainder of the pot is not tapla's, but: 2 pearlite, 1 orchid soil (which is half bark, half peat) and that batch makes up half of the narrowish (10-inch?) nursery pot with 5 drainage holes. I set the plant with still a good amount of heavy potting soil on top of that batch. Please tell me I did NOT create a water table in the entire bottom half of the pot. Tapla? Anyone?

Help.
